Ryan Henriquez was born and raised in Allentown, PA.  He graduated from Duke University and UCLA School of Law before moving to NYC to practice law at the firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed.  Since then, he has worked as in-house counsel for EMI Music Publishing, the Oxygen Network, and most recently MTV Networks as VP of Business & Legal Affairs negotiating development/production, talent, and distribution deals. 

In March 2011, Ryan opened the Law Office of Ryan S. Henriquez, a boutique law practice, representing clients in the television, music, and film industries in entertainment, licensing, media, and technology matters. He also represents top industry executives and talent in employment matters, and provides music supervision and clearance services for feature film, television, and new media projects.

In addition to his law practice, Ryan operates Perry Rome Productions, a production company focused on music-based documentary and related programming. His productions have aired on the distribution platforms of Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and IFC, and he is currently producing a feature-length documentary on the rock band, DEER TICK. Ryan lives in Brooklyn with his wife Jennifer and their twin girls.
